    If you’re investing alone or jointly with somebody else, you’ll need to:

    • Be a New Zealand resident, aged 18 and over
    • Have an IRD number
    • Have a NZ bank account (and a bank statement to upload)
    • Have your NZ or Australian passport or driver licence handy
    • Getting started online takes less than 10 minutes!
  • Trust or
    Estate.

    If you are a trust or estate you’ll need to:

    • Provide details for a primary contact person
    • Be an entity domiciled in NZ
    • Have a NZ bank account in the name of the Trust or Estate (and a bank statement to upload)

    We’ll then provide access to an online form designed to capture the trustees, other key people and the documents we’ll need to open your account with Welcome.

  • Company or
    Other Entity.

    If you are a company or other entity, you’ll need to:

    • Provide details for a primary contact person
    • Be an entity domiciled in NZ
    • Have a NZ bank account in the name of the entity (and a bank statement to upload)

    We’ll then provide access to an online form designed to capture the directors, other key people and the documents we’ll need to open your account with Welcome.
